Greg Smith was the winner of the Tuross Head men’s stableford event on Saturday with an excellent score of 37 points.
Ken Brown filled second placing with a score of 36 points and Peter Garn filled third placing on a countback.
John Eglitis and Peter McRae filled the remaining award spots-both scoring 35 points. Nearest the pins were won by A grade golfer Troy Kingdom with 8.25 m on the 4th hole.
Ken Brown was closest on the 6th with 2.72 m and Ian McManus won the 7th hole with 5.82 m. B grade player Greg Booth was the best on the 4th hole with 6.20 m. Peter Garn won the 6th with 2.04 m and Bruce Lidbury the 7th with 3.72 m. Greg Ware was the best on the 4th hole with 8.03 m. Mick Hogan won the 6th with 5.80 m and Michael Kermode the 7th with 4.58m.
Thursday’s stableford medley competition was won by Bob Hay with 39 points. Bob edged out Steve Johnston who finished second on a countback. Ian McManus 38 points and Richard Wharton 36 points filled the remaining award winning positions.
Nearest the pins were won by Richard Wharton, Bob Hay and Leonie Snodgrass.
